Accessibility Statement

Northmere Academy B.V. aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA across our website and course platform. In practice we work to ensure:

• Semantic HTML structure with a single, logical heading hierarchy on every page.
• Keyboard access to all interactive elements, with visible focus indicators.
• Colour contrast that meets or exceeds AA thresholds for text and interface elements.
• Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images.
• Respect for the "reduce motion" operating system preference.
• Captions on course videos and downloadable transcripts for each module.

We consider the site substantially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA. Some third-party embedded components — for example the payment provider's checkout — are outside our direct control, and we work with those vendors where issues are identified.

Accessibility is reviewed as part of every significant release, combining automated checks with manual keyboard and screen-reader testing. Reported barriers are triaged within five business days and prioritised according to their impact on learners.

If any part of the course is inaccessible to you, contact us and we will provide the material in an alternative format — for example a transcript, a plain-text worksheet or a guided walkthrough by email — at no additional cost.
