Terms of Use

These terms govern your access to and use of the Northmere Academy website, course platform and related materials.

Last updated: 1 August 2026

1.Acceptance of terms

By accessing Northmere Academy or purchasing any course from Northmere Academy B.V., you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or the course platform. We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notified by email.

2.Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your country, to purchase a course. If you are purchasing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that organisation.

3.Account registration

Access to course content requires an account created with the email address used at checkout. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.

  • Provide accurate registration details and keep them current.
  • Do not share, sell or transfer your login credentials.
  • Notify us promptly at support@northmere-academy.eu if you suspect unauthorised access.

4.Course access

On confirmed payment we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the purchased course for your own learning. Access is provided for the operational lifetime of the platform. We may improve, reorganise or update course content at any time; such updates are included at no additional cost.

5.Intellectual property

All course videos, written materials, templates, worksheets, branding and site content are owned by Northmere Academy B.V. or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. No ownership rights transfer to you at any point.

6.Permitted use

You may:

  • Access and view course content for your own professional development.
  • Download the provided PDFs, templates and worksheets for personal working use.
  • Apply the methods taught to your own work, including work performed for an employer.

7.Prohibited use

You may not:

  • Record, copy, redistribute, publish or resell any part of the course.
  • Use course content to create a competing training product.
  • Circumvent access controls, scrape the platform, or use automated download tools.
  • Use the platform unlawfully or in a way that disrupts service for other students.

8.Payments

Courses are sold as a single one-time purchase. Prices are displayed in euro and include VAT where applicable. Payment is processed by our third-party payment provider; we do not store full card details. Commercial terms are set out in our Terms of Sale.

9.No unauthorised sharing

Each licence covers one individual learner. Accounts showing signs of credential sharing — for example simultaneous sessions in multiple locations — may be suspended pending review. Organisations wishing to enrol multiple learners should contact support@northmere-academy.eu about team licences.

10.Disclaimer of results

The course is educational. We make no guarantee of any specific productivity gain, career outcome, promotion or financial result. Outcomes depend on your role, effort, context and factors outside our control.

11.Suspension or termination

We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached, where fraudulent payment activity is detected, or where required by law. Where the breach is minor and remediable, we will normally contact you first. Termination for cause does not entitle you to a refund outside our Refund Policy.

12.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising from your use of the site or course is limited to the amount you paid for the course. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

13.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, where Northmere Academy B.V. is established, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of the country in which you reside. Disputes may be brought before the competent courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, or submitted to the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
